More men, than ever before, are shaving and using hair removal products – to get the hairless look of an athlete, Havana Spa says. The spa offers professional hair removal services for men, and says the demand for these services has been growing.

Sandra Plasencia Casanova, owner, Havna Spa, explains, “In the past, male athletes, especially swimmers, made up the entire men’s hair removal market. But today, men from all walks of life have come to appreciate the aesthetic quality of smooth, healthy skin.”

Surveys have shown that shaving is the most common approach to hair removal for men, but waxing is growing in popularity.

Havana Spa uses a botanical product line, Nufree, for its hair removal treatments. Unlike a wax, it removes the entire hair shaft and bulb rather than breaking it.
